We are considering using/forking this repository for Data Terra first darft service catalogue.
Can you clarify something?
You need to have the services described in a SQL DB? ... how do you populate this DB? Do you have a form that you give to you sevice provider? is the file (yaml or other somewhere??)

Sorry for the late answer. All the service metadata is supposed to be in a SQL DB. In our case there are multiple master sources:

• We get metadata of our own services from our internal ITMS system (support for service catalog metadata as an added feature),
• metadata of external services (from e.g. other Nodes) by harvesting from external service catalogue APIs,
• we will get metadata of Finnish research infrastructure services from the national research information hub API (in progress) and
• we use a specific form (in-house software) for collecting and updating metadata of some Finnish research services, if we cannot get the metadata and updates for it other way.
