The short version

These terms cover dimwit.me and everything I sell under the Dimwit name.

Each product also has its own terms and privacy policy. Using it means agreeing to both.

Paid plans renew until you cancel, and you can cancel any time.

Changed your mind? You get a full refund within 14 days of your first payment.

What’s open stays open. You pay for me to run things, never to unlock them.

Who these terms are with

These terms are an agreement between you and Deepansh Khurana, an individual based in India (“I”, “me”). Dimwit Labs is only the label I publish work under. It isn’t a company and isn’t a party to anything here.

Product terms come first

Some Dimwit products run as hosted services you can pay for, like Parcourse at parcourse.study. Each of those has its own terms of service and privacy policy, written for what that product does.

When you use one, you agree to both: these terms and that product’s own. They’re meant to be read together. If the two ever disagree, the product’s terms win for anything about that product, and these terms fill in whatever they don’t cover.

Open-source code

Ode, Prosaic, AI-DECLARATION.md, Parcourse, OYOBYOK and Tuck are open source. Your right to use, change and share their code comes from each project’s licence, not from these terms, and nothing here takes it away. These terms only cover services I run and charge for.

Using the products

Don’t break the law, or infringe anyone’s rights.

Don’t attack, probe, overload or get around the limits of any service.

Don’t resell or re-host a paid service without my written permission.

Keep your account details to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.

Prices and payments

Every plan shows its price, billing period and what it includes before you pay. Taxes such as GST are added where the law requires.

Plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until you cancel. Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go straight to them; I never see or store them.

If a price changes, I’ll email you at least 30 days before it applies to you, so you can cancel first if you want to.

Cancellation

You can cancel a paid plan any time, from your account or by emailing me. There are no cancellation fees. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you’ve paid for, then stops, and you won’t be charged again.

The full details are in the Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Refunds

If you’re unhappy within 14 days of your first payment for a plan, email me and I’ll refund it in full. After that, I don’t refund part periods, except for billing mistakes, a service I shut down, or where the law requires it.

The full details, including how long refunds take, are in the Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Leaving

You can leave any time, and take your data with you. Every paid product can export what you’ve made, and that export runs on the self-hosted, open-source version. I may suspend an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, but unless it’s urgent or the law stops me, I’ll tell you first and give you the chance to take your data.

Liability

Services are provided as they are. I work to keep them fast and available, but I can’t promise they never go down. As far as the law allows, I’m not liable for indirect losses, and my total liability to you is limited to what you paid me in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing here limits rights the law doesn’t let a contract take away, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Changes

If I change these terms in a way that matters, I’ll email paying customers at least 14 days before it takes effect, and update the date at the top. If you don’t agree, you can cancel and leave with your data.

Law and disputes

These terms follow the laws of India. Write to me first and I’ll try to sort it out. If we can’t, the courts of Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India, decide.
