From 3edeadf41bd55cbc46fa59bc8bb2c5f896a3598f Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Yoshiharu Uematsu <134200591+smileygames@users.noreply.github.com> Date: Wed, 14 Oct 2026 03:40:07 +0900 Subject: [PATCH] feat(room): type a status line about the other seats into a busy seat (mcp-config, src-tauri, screen, sidecar, docs) MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit A seat that is working now gets one line typed into its terminal when the other seats' words change: [pullcept] {"role":"status","seats":{"Lay":"writing","Lin":"delegating"}} It is a label, not a post: no message_id, no from, never logged, never shown as a post. The words are the participant panel's badges mapped to idle / thinking / writing / tool / delegating / permission / limited. The screen reads every topic's seats with activityNote and hands them over through the new seat_words command only when the reading changes (reportSeatWords). mcp_config::seat_status decides who gets what: only busy seats (thinking / writing / tool / delegating), never their own word, only when the others' words differ from what that seat was last typed. The line travels the post path for both Claude Code and Codex app-server seats (the PTY typing queue), and is dropped, never kept, for a Claude Code seat waiting on a prompt or with posts kept (prompt_hold::Queue::would_keep) and for a box the person is typing in (PtyState::type_status). The room instructions gain one line saying a status label is not a post, has no message_id, is never last_seen and needs no reply. 同じ投稿に二つの席が同時に動き始めて同じ調べ物をする無駄を減らすため、動いている席にだけ、ほかの席の今の様子を一行で知らせる。docs/1-room.md と docs/4-status.md も同じ変更で更新した。 #412 Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01NYQn8NK3atdbSGNYFKDEjx --- crates/mcp-config/src/lib.rs | 1 + crates/mcp-config/src/prompt_hold.rs | 25 +- crates/mcp-config/src/seat_status.rs | 404 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++ docs/1-room.md | 18 +- docs/4-status.md | 11 + sidecar/src/index.ts | 1 + sidecar/test/nickname-ui.test.mjs | 2 +- src-tauri/src/hook_activity.rs | 26 +- src-tauri/src/lib.rs | 4 + src-tauri/src/pty.rs | 32 +++ src-tauri/src/seat_status.rs | 73 +++++ src/main.ts | 33 +++ 12 files changed, 626 insertions(+), 4 deletions(-) create mode 100644 crates/mcp-config/src/seat_status.rs create mode 100644 src-tauri/src/seat_status.rs diff --git a/crates/mcp-config/src/lib.rs b/crates/mcp-config/src/lib.rs index 213321a..026487c 100644 --- a/crates/mcp-config/src/lib.rs +++ b/crates/mcp-config/src/lib.rs @@ -40,6 +40,7 @@ pub mod claude_notice; pub mod claude_resume; pub mod permission_prompt; pub mod prompt_hold; +pub mod seat_status; pub mod usage; /// Prefix of the name the sidecar is registered under in `.mcp.json`. diff --git a/crates/mcp-config/src/prompt_hold.rs b/crates/mcp-config/src/prompt_hold.rs index 4e47046..9a69887 100644 --- a/crates/mcp-config/src/prompt_hold.rs +++ b/crates/mcp-config/src/prompt_hold.rs @@ -75,13 +75,20 @@ impl Queue { /// seat is not `waiting`, and nothing is kept or being handed over. `None` /// is the post kept. pub fn pass(&mut self, waiting: bool, item: Item) -> Option { - if waiting || self.handing || !self.items.is_empty() { + if self.would_keep(waiting) { self.items.push_back(item); return None; } Some(item) } + /// Whether a post handed over now would be kept rather than typed: the + /// seat is `waiting`, or something is kept or being handed over.
