render a sequence of reusable subforms as numbered steps with Back/Next navigation, per-step validation, optional defaultModel prefix to namespace each step's output, optional steps, conditional steps with when: visibility expressions, and a summary step that shows a read-only review of the merged extravars before submit. Cross-step references work via $(__parent__.<stepname>.<field>).
