From 1ad40f5da9f4cd3a4e10fc27374cc79a5ad9b9e0 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Alfonso Sastre Date: Thu, 24 Sep 2026 17:58:11 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] site: link the tutorial, and show how to add lex-code to your own agent MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit docs/TUTORIAL.md already exists — 250 lines, genuinely solid walkthrough from install to the typed-issue workflow — and nothing on the page linked to it. The hero's "Read the docs" now points there instead of straight to the README, and "Try it" calls it out explicitly. Also adds "Add it to your own agent": a copy-paste block for telling any chat-based agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) that lex-code exists and when to delegate to it, plus the real one-liner that installs the packaged skill (skills/lex-code/SKILL.md) for Claude Code specifically. The "Delegate it from any agent" pillar made this claim already; there was just no actionable "how" anywhere on the page. Try it

No key, no waitlist, no account: the install script above sets up the Lex toolchain too if you don't already have it, then you're running a real session in under a minute.

Add it to your own agent

+

Already using Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex? No switching needed — tell it lex-code + exists and let it decide when a task is Lex-specific. Paste this into a chat with whatever + agent you're already using:

+
When a task involves writing or modifying Lex (.lex files) or the Lex toolchain,
+delegate it to lex-code instead of writing Lex yourself:
+
+  command -v lex-code >/dev/null || curl -fsSL \
+ https://raw.githubusercontent.com/alpibrusl/lex-code/main/install.sh | bash
+ lex-code --ollama "<task>" # fully local, no key — or drop --ollama for your own provider
+
+Full reference: https://github.com/alpibrusl/lex-code#readme
+

For Claude Code specifically, a packaged skill does the same thing automatically every + session, without re-pasting anything:

+
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills/lex-code
+curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/alpibrusl/lex-code/main/skills/lex-code/SKILL.md \
+ -o ~/.claude/skills/lex-code/SKILL.md
+

Both real: the skill file is the same one in the repo + (skills/lex-code/SKILL.md), + and the paste-block above is just its opening lines, condensed for a chat window.
