Hi, are there any plans to localize the UGT Manager?

[djethino]

1. I will take a look to add it in the next release, it's not too long to do.
2. Yes, I think so too. it’s just a matter of priorities.

Right now, I’m working on two major features that require in-depth design and analysis, so I’m focusing only on quick enhancement tasks and bug fixes for the existing codebase to keep things stable while I finish testing the feasibility of these upcoming features.
But I’m always open to new ideas for later on :)

I'm just thinking, the source language can't be in the Mod Default, it depends on the game and I can't detect it. but I can add it to the game set up and with the strict source option, with a disclaimer it's declarative and if you put english on a korean game for example, I can't do anything. And I fixe language at the first translation to avoid multiple source/target language in a translation by error.

[djethino]

It's done for what I can do on this version.
You'll find the mod translation part and the hotkeys on the "Mod Defaults" and for the source language and strict source on games' set up tabs.

it’s just that when there is "auto", then if in the game, in addition to English, there is also Korean and Japanese. All languages end up in the translation file and the file turns out to be too large and it will not be translated 100%. and LLM does not receive the necessary requests.

[djethino]

It doesn't work like that, the source language is only an information for the model (to try to let other language as the source) and users (to know which language to configure on the game for this translation). All detected texts are sent to the LLM, it's not possible to determine if it's english or korean before. each game is different on the language declaration, it's a limit of UGT. The "strict source" only ask to the model if this line must stay in the other language and must take the "S" tag (and little models are not capable to answer this question, it's why there is a bench in "Mod Defaults" with specific tests for "strict source", on my side the only one model that answer correctly to strict source during the tests is qwen3.8:27b).

on which game you have the problem with the file size ? (and what is the size of the file ? may be I have to enhance this part)
may be you can exclude the variable/element where the other language are writing or something like that.
