Batch mode

In batch mode, the clipboard is monitored and files are saved instantly every time new data is copied to the clipboard, as shown in the animated GIF below.

To enable batch mode, start the program and check the 'Batch mode' option. If autosave is enabled, hold SHIFT to force the dialog to appear. You can choose to save the current clipboard contents or start with on the next clipboard update.

In batch mode, the filename is purely determined by the template. The filename template can be edited by clicking 'Edit template' and selecting one of the available presets, or typing your own. The save counter variable is especially useful to enumerate the created files.

Batch mode will only save data which matches the selected extension. If you want to save data of variable types (e.g. images and text mixed), select * as extension. In this case, batch mode will save everything and behave like in autosave mode to determine the actual format to save to.

It might be helpful to enable "Always on top" when using batch mode. This feature is available starting with version 5.2.
It is automatically enabled and can be controlled via right-click on the application's title bar.
