Wingetcreate update a manifest file

I have a series of applications that are not public downloads so I cannot commit them to the community repository.

Is it possible to use wingetcreate update command to update for to update to new url and version number?

Example

SparxSystems.EnterpriseArchitect version 17.1.1713.6 local manifest file update to 18.1.1812.1 (and update x64 url)

Currently wingetcreate can only download publicly available URLs as it does not pass any Auth headers

No, it is different, I host the files that wingetcreate cannot download on my webserver... to make them available. Then use wingetcreate with my webserver URL.

But since I the files are not publicly available... they do not meet the qualifications for the Community repository. So, I maintain them in a local manifest folder (that wingetcreate creates).

I would like the capability to update a manifest in the local (on the computer) manifest folder (that wingetcreate creates).

Ah, this may be something that I tried once to debug wingetcreate with a local manifest instead of a one available from the WinGet repository. You may be interested in reading this code where I added a --custom-manifest argument in wingetcreate update command that accepts a local file path:

I never made a PR for it, because I didn't see a use case for it in the main repo and still this feels like a very "special" case to handle. If you want, you can take that code and build a local copy of wingetcreate from source code

We do have plans to add support for publishing to a REST source, which might also be useful in the future.
