From b699b71a22969793c27c2e904d2cd494f7f4951c Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: erKam Date: Sat, 7 Nov 2026 19:36:46 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] test: give the package tests a 20 s timeout on Windows The Windows runner timed out twice today on Analog tests that run a full devframe setup (analog-server-fns, analog-page-calls), while the same tests take under 100 ms on Linux and pass on a rerun. Raise the per-test timeout on win32 only, so slow setups there no longer fail the job and Linux keeps the 5 s default that catches real hangs. --- packages/devtools/vitest.config.ts | 4 ++++ 1 file changed, 4 insertions(+) diff --git a/packages/devtools/vitest.config.ts b/packages/devtools/vitest.config.ts index 2a6cbe55..576b8a45 100644 --- a/packages/devtools/vitest.config.ts +++ b/packages/devtools/vitest.config.ts @@ -6,6 +6,10 @@ export default defineConfig({ // `--localstorage-file` and hides the jsdom one the tests rely on. execArgv: ['--no-experimental-webstorage'], setupFiles: ['src/__tests__/test-env.ts'], + // The Windows runner is several times slower at the tests that run a full + // devframe setup (the Analog source scan, the agent tools), and they hit the + // 5 s default there while taking under 100 ms on Linux. + testTimeout: process.platform === 'win32' ? 20_000 : 5_000, // Used only with `--coverage` (`pnpm test:coverage`): a report, with no threshold to meet. coverage: { provider: 'v8',
