Failing to detect extra field added to at least one table

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Enter DB Connection details for my test & prod DB's (on same machine)
2. Select to compare schema only
3. Select a single table I know is different between the two DB's

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
 - Expected to be notified of the new field I have inserted
 - Output reported no table differences !!

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.
 Running php 5.2.10, CentOS 5.5, myISAM table types.
