I’ve spent more than four decades building software. Retirement mostly means I get to choose which problems are worth solving.
My open-source work focuses on developer tooling, Rust, and making AI-assisted software engineering more rigorous, traceable, and dependable.
My major project is Cadence, a planning and verification system for Claude Code. It keeps decisions, plans, progress, review findings, and verification in the repository, where they survive individual sessions. Planning, execution, review, and verification happen in fresh contexts, while the developer remains the engineer of record.
I also build focused tools where I believe the existing solution can be made substantially better.
Sponsorship supports the unglamorous work that keeps open-source software trustworthy: testing, infrastructure, documentation, API usage, experimentation, and maintenance after the initial release.
If something I build makes your work easier, more reliable, or less wasteful of your time, sponsorship helps me continue doing that work—and keep it independent.
