Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Node.js installed
• Google Chrome installed

1. Clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/AbdellahEdaoudi/fullstack-developer-cv.git
cd fullstack-developer-cv

2. Install dependencies

npm install

3. Update your name in the scripts

Important: Open the scripts in scripts/ and replace abdellah-edaoudi with your own full name in all entries.

4. Edit the HTML files

• CVs: Open any src/cv/cv_*.html and update your name, title, contact info, skills, experience, projects, and education.
• Cover Letters: Open any src/cover-letters/cl_*.html and personalize the content for each application.

5. Generate PDFs

Node.js:

npm run generate:cvs           # CVs only  → output/cv/
npm run generate:cover-letters # CLs only  → output/cover-letters/
npm run generate:all           # All 16 PDFs (8 CVs + 8 Cover Letters)

Python:

npm run py:cvs
npm run py:cover-letters
npm run py:all

PDFs are saved in output/cv/ and output/cover-letters/.

Print / Export Manually

Open any HTML file in Google Chrome, press Ctrl+P, set margins to None, then Save as PDF.

Other Customization Tips

1. Profile photo: Replace assets/profile.jpg with your own photo. The HTML files already reference it via ../../assets/profile.jpg — keep the same filename to avoid updating anything.
2. Colors: The primary accent color is #1d4ed8 (blue) — easy to change in the CSS.
3. Font size: Adjust font-size in body to fit more or less content.
4. Adding sections: Follow the existing <section> pattern.
