VoiceOS GitHub Integration

Manage your GitHub naturally in your workflows using your voice. Built for VoiceOS

Setup

1. Install dependencies

bun install

2. Add GitHub as a connected app in Composio

Composio is the auth + API transport this integration runs on. Get an API key from the Composio dashboard, and add GitHub as a connected app for your project — that creates the auth config the connect flow below needs.

3. Give the server the key

Create a .env file in this folder:

COMPOSIO_API_KEY=your-key-here

If you're installing through VoiceOS's setup field instead (it prompts for COMPOSIO_API_KEY and injects it as an env var), this file isn't needed — it's only a fallback for running the server standalone.

4. Install into VoiceOS

Copy (or symlink) this folder into:

~/Library/Application Support/VoiceOS/custom-mcps/

then restart VoiceOS.

5. Connect your account

Try any tool — "What needs my review?" If GitHub isn't connected yet, you'll get a "Connect GitHub" card with an OAuth link. Approve it once and you're set.
