=====================

## Release date Sep 23, 2026

### iOS Point SDK v18.1.0

**What's Improved:**

- **Push Notification security:** Strengthened validation of device registration requests to prevent reuse of intercepted or stale credentials. No integration changes are required.
- **More reliable push registration:** When a customer changes their notification permission, the SDK now updates their registration cleanly, so devices stay correctly registered for campaigns.
- **Improved Exit precision:** Fixed an issue where Exit could fire while a device was still near the geofence boundary. Exit detection is now more tolerant of location noise and significantly more accurate.
