Autonomous Software Engineer

A small but real agentic software-engineering workflow. The orchestration is provider-agnostic and testable without an external model by using a deterministic mock model.

• Separates orchestration, provider integration, structured models and tool access.
• Uses deterministic mock providers so behavior can be tested without paid model calls.
• Captures safety boundaries in THREAT_MODEL.md instead of pretending agents are harmless by default.

Workflow

Issue → Planner → Developer → Test/Verification → Reviewer → Engineering report.

The important design choice is that agents do not receive unrestricted filesystem access; they receive explicit tools and return structured decisions.
