Summary

  • Normalize CRLF to LF at the README contract-test boundary.
  • Preserve the runtime output and documented sample unchanged.
  • Fix the Windows-only CI failure with one standard-library line.

Verification

  • node --test --test-name-pattern README-pass-path test/stack.test.mjs (focused test passed)
  • npm test (42 passed)
  • git diff --check
