Public bug reports and feature requests for the UI Foundry Unreal Engine plugin.
Search existing issues before opening a new report. Include the affected UI Foundry feature, Unreal Engine version, operating system and enough steps to reproduce the problem. This repository contains reporting templates and public discussions; it does not distribute plugin source.
Issue titles, answers, comments and files attached directly on GitHub are public. Remove confidential project information, credentials, personal information and identifying details before posting. Images and their embedded metadata need manual inspection too.
The optional in-editor reporter requires a configured UI Foundry support service and GitHub App. In that workflow, diagnostics are collected locally, prepared with project and personal redaction rules, and shown for review before submission. Files sent through that service are private to approved support maintainers and expire under the service retention policy. This private-file behavior does not apply to attachments posted directly on GitHub.
Do not report credentials or sensitive security details in a public issue. Use an established private maintainer contact for information that cannot safely be published.
The native reporter reads the maintained bug and feature forms from .github/ISSUE_TEMPLATE/ through its configured service. Keep existing field IDs stable when refining wording or order. Native version 1 supports Markdown instructions, input, textarea, dropdown, checkboxes and supported file uploads. Unsupported template requirements direct users to the browser form; they do not silently remove required questions. Updating these templates does not require repackaging the plugin when the changes stay within the supported schema.
