[jpro-sticky] Touch Screen / Mobile Devices: Nested Scroll Chaining Defect and Pinning Failures #127

Description

@ctoabidmaqbool

Summary

The jpro-sticky example (jpro-sticky\example) fails to function correctly on mobile web views and touch-enabled devices (iOS / Android). Sticky/pinned headers and footers do not attach properly during touch dragging, and nested ScrollPane touch-scroll chaining is completely broken.

Requirements & Expected Behavior

  • Nested Scroll Chaining (Touch Drag & Drop):
    • When performing a touch-drag gesture inside an inner ScrollPane, the inner container must scroll to its boundary (top/bottom) first.
    • Only after reaching the scroll boundary should scroll propagation chain up to scroll the parent page container.
  • Sticky Pinning Support on Mobile/Touch:
    • StickyPane top headers, embedded ScrollPane sticky headers, and bottom fixed bars must maintain their pinned dynamic layout behavior during touch interactions on iOS Safari and Android Chrome, matching desktop browser performance.
  • Touch Drag Responsiveness:
    • Ensure touch gestures accurately translate to ScrollPane offsets without causing viewport lockups or skipping scroll boundaries.

Reproducing Environment

  • Module: jpro-sticky/example
  • Target Library: JPro-Platform (jpro-sticky / JavaFX Web integration)
  • Tested Browsers: Chrome DevTools Mobile Emulation, iOS Safari/Chrome, Android Chrome
  • Labels: bug, mobile, touch, jpro-sticky
