My fascination with computers began with Windows 3.1. I was a kid staring at a screen, wondering what was happening behind it. That curiosity eventually led me into system administration, software development, and a lifelong habit of asking why.
I've always loved astronomy and the universe. When I discovered programming, I found a curious parallel: the ability to build entire systems governed by rules of my own design. Small universes where logic determines how everything behaves and interacts.
My professional focus is frontend development, particularly React, Next.js and TypeScript, but I enjoy working across the stack. From interfaces and user experience to APIs, databases and backend architecture, I'm interested in understanding how the pieces fit together.
Exploring Rust introduced me to another side of programming: memory safety, performance and the mechanisms hidden beneath higher-level abstractions.
What drives me isn't just making things work. It's understanding why they work, why they fail and how they could work better.
Outside software, my curiosity tends to wander through physics, astronomy, biology, nature and just about anything that raises an interesting question.
Too many questions. Not nearly enough time. π

Currently building: an interactive web application that helps people explore the physiology of recovery during abstinence from psychoactive substances.
Soma brings together a personalized recovery dashboard, an interactive anatomical atlas, evidence-informed educational content, and achievement milestones. I'm developing it across the stack, from the React interface to the NestJS API and PostgreSQL data model.
