Security Overview

Security Posture

The LLM Schema Registry implements defense-in-depth security with multiple layers:

  • Layer 1: Network Security - TLS 1.3, mTLS, Network policies
  • Layer 2: Authentication - JWT (RS256/HS256), OAuth 2.0, API keys, mTLS certificates
  • Layer 3: Authorization - RBAC (14 permissions), ABAC (context-aware)
  • Layer 4: Input Validation - OWASP-compliant validation, size limits, regex patterns
  • Layer 5: Audit Logging - Tamper-proof hash-chained logs
  • Layer 6: Data Protection - Encryption at rest (AES-256), encryption in transit (TLS 1.3)
