Summary

  • Localize the manifest name and description through _locales so the Chrome Web Store title and summary carry descriptive keywords ("Compare AI Chatbots Side by Side") in all 10 locales. short_name stays Panelize.
  • Keep AI provider and competitor names out of the store title and summary, since the Chrome Web Store has rejected listings that use them.
  • Add an answer-first paragraph and a FAQ to the English, Chinese and Japanese READMEs.
  • Add tests/store-listing-locales.test.js, which checks the store length limits (name ≤ 75, summary ≤ 132) and rejects provider or competitor names in every locale.

Test plan

  • npx vitest run: 57 files, 636 tests passed
  • Mutation check: adding a provider name to the de title makes the new test fail
  • web-ext lint: same errors, warnings and notices as main
  • Loaded the unpacked extension in Chrome: the English name and description resolve from _locales
  • Non-English locales not checked in a real browser (--lang has no effect on macOS)

Release note: ship with the next version only after the pending Chrome Web Store review has finished.

Keep AI provider and competitor names out of the store title and summary, since the Chrome Web Store rejects listings that use them. A test enforces this and the store length limits for every locale.
