What
Set
type="scroll"on theScrollAreaused by the sidebar navigation list (packages/ui/src/components/layout/Sidebar.tsx), instead of relying on the default behavior. Why
The sidebar scrollbar was permanently visible whenever the list overflowed, which added visual noise to an otherwise quiet part of the layout. With
type="scroll", the scrollbar now fades in only while the user is scrolling (and shortly after), keeping the sidebar clean while still giving clear affordance when the content overflows.Notes
type="scroll"works on both hover-capable and touch devices, so mobile users still get a visible indicator while scrolling.
