The tooltip-merge resolution left 24 closes for 23 div opens, pushing .sidebar-container.right outside .editor-container. Sidebar.addPanel then crashed on sidebarContainer.append (null), aborting initSidebars: no right panels, no tools, blank canvas, loaded font never displayed.
The upstream merge dropped the .subtool-button rules, including
.subtool-button:not(:first-child) { visibility: hidden; }. All subtools
rendered visible, so each multi-tool wrapper stacked two rows and the
toolbar broke into two lines. Restores the pre-merge block verbatim:
default-hidden subtools, dropdown panel styling, multi-tool triangle
indicator, and expanded-state radii.
