Summary

Added a noindex, nofollow robots meta tag to the HTML head to prevent search engines from indexing and following links on the Wavefront site.

Changes

  • Added <meta name="robots" content="noindex, nofollow" /> to index.html

Rationale

This ensures the site is not indexed by search engines, which is appropriate for an interactive learning tool that may not be intended for public discovery via search results. The tag instructs crawlers to neither index the page nor follow any links present on it.

The site deploys privately behind Cloudflare Access. Add a noindex/nofollow
robots directive in the HTML entry template as a belt-and-suspenders measure,
so the URL won't be indexed even if the Access gate is ever misconfigured.
