Rocket systems by NeoLabs — Easy and modern launch platform with passive cooling
Compatible with NeoLabs-Rockets launch system
-
Glue a hose into the H20 inlet. This allows you to glue on most high pressure water supplies, providing a simple water supply for cooling the flame diverter.
-
If the water flow is too low, partially seal some of the cooling channels with glue to increase flow resistance. When printing, you can also intentionally leave some support material inside the cooling channel to achieve the same effect.
-
Insert a 3 mm launch rod into the guide hole next to the flame diverter and mount the rocket onto the rod.
- Paint the recessed frame channel with high-temperature paint for improved heat resistance and appearance.
- Attach a camera using the existing mounting point with the separate 3D-printable camera mount
- Material: ABS recommended; PLA+ is also suitable.
- Infill: At least 10% (Adaptive Cubic recommended).
- Layer Height: 0.28 mm using Adaptive Layer Height.
- Orientation: Print the model vertically with the cooling inlet facing sideward.
- Supports: Tree Supports (Auto), 5° overhang angle.
