Apprentice software engineer at CEA Paris-Saclay, studying Computer Science and Applied Mathematics at Polytech Paris-Saclay (2025–2028).
The CEA (French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission) is a public research organization working on nuclear and low-carbon energy, defense and advanced technologies. I work in its energy division, where simulation software supports nuclear engineering studies.
I contribute to SALOME, the open-source numerical simulation platform co-developed by CEA and EDF, working on meshing plugins, post-processing, performance and robustness.
- Merged contributions to SalomePlatform: cancel mechanism, Python API and tests, dump study integration, C++ Geogram to MED converter
- Apprenticeship portfolio: CEA-apprenticeship
- SALOME contributions are made from my work account @Nicolas-Saikaly
Stack: Python, C++, PyQt, CMake, MEDCoupling, VTK / ParaView, Git, Linux
