ArrayBridge 0.3.7 is now published on PyPI: https://pypi.org/project/arraybridge/0.3.7/ . Both wheel and source archive hashes exactly match the qualified v0.3.7 release assets at ee4c0e93. Uploaded through secure local keyring credentials because the original GitHub publisher remained queued. The PyPI-availability dependency for this PR is resolved; no claim that its remaining OpenHCS receiving or integration is complete. |

Mixed intensity and intrinsic-channel image composition currently downloads device pixels into NumPy, and mask projection/broadcasting assumes host arrays. Route these operations through the existing ArrayBridge MemoryType/ArrayOperations while retaining OpenHCS metadata as the authority for intensity and axis semantics. Masks follow the actual image destination device; RGB/grayscale masks are broadcast into their composed slice domains before stacking.
Closes #1079.
Depends on merged ArrayBridge #8, pinned at ee4c0e93 with a package minimum of 0.3.7. Draft until the tagged release is actually available on PyPI. No CPU performance improvement is claimed, and no benchmark source receipts are relabeled.
Validation: 219 affected CPU controls pass on the combined source, including the separately merged alignment repair #1082. Eleven real GTX 1080/CuPy checks pass for mixed intensity, per-plane scaling, mixed intrinsic channels, full/channel-free/absent/shared masks, masked conversion, channel projection and both destination frameworks. GPU-only composition forbids downloads; values, destination devices and independent stack buffers are checked. Torch/TensorFlow/Pycles device execution is not claimed; unsupported Pycles native geometry/allocation is explicit. The performance plan still requires a complete mixed-device production-pipeline conversion profile before P5 can be called complete.
