Description
Core, Python, and Publish-python jobs only build/test on x86_64 Linux (ubuntu-24.04/22.04) and macOS (arm64 since 2.0.4). No Linux aarch64 wheels have ever been published, so
pip installfails inside linux/arm64 containers (e.g. Docker Desktop/OrbStack on Apple Silicon hosts).Add ubuntu-24.04-arm (CI + CD) and ubuntu-22.04-arm (CD publish only) to the matrices so wheels get built, tested, and published for Linux aarch64 alongside the existing platforms.
Affected Dependencies
None — this only changes GitHub Actions workflow configuration (
.github/workflows/CI.yml,.github/workflows/CD.yml). No source, build target, or Python dependency changes. How has this been tested?
I reproduced the failure locally — pip install openmined.psi==2.0.6 fails inside a linux/arm64 container because no aarch64 Linux wheel has ever been published. I haven't yet run an actual arm64 Bazel build to confirm the fix; this PR's own CI run on ubuntu-24.04-arm is the first real test of that.
