Let a gradient stop name a theme colour, drawn in the reader's - #74
A gradient's stops are fixed colours, so SharpMUSH's gradient(..., primary|secondary) is drawn in the game's layout_theme for everyone, while tone() and box borders follow each reader's @theme. This lets a stop say which theme colour it stands for, so the renderer can recolour it per reader.
ColorGradient.Roles (ImmutableArray<ThemeRole?>, by stop position, empty by default) and ColorGradient.Toned(Func<ThemeRole, IColorMarkup?>).
LayoutContext.Tones: the reader's colour for each role. Shaded and Gauge shade with Toned gradients. A role the reader gives no colour keeps its written stop.
Wire: roles stored as ro (role names or null) in the gradient object; omitted when there are none, so existing JSON is unchanged.
HTML: a stop with a role is written var(--ms-tone-<role>, #hex). A shaded block with roles writes --ms-shade unsampled, because a sampled gradient can't keep the variable.
Added to the unreleased 2.24.0 entry in CHANGELOG.md. A SharpMUSH PR that uses it follows.
Tests: GradientTests covers recolouring after the serializer, the no-theme fallback, and the CSS output. Full suite passes (1381).
ColorGradient.Roles records the theme role each stop stands for. Relayout
with LayoutContext.Tones recolours those stops for the reader, and a page
writes them as var(--ms-tone-<role>, <colour>).

Walkthrough
Color gradients now support optional theme roles for individual stops. Serialization preserves those roles. Layout tone mappings apply to shaded blocks and gauges, while HTML output retains theme CSS variables and their fallback colors.

Gradient roles and serialization MarkupString/ColorGradient.cs, MarkupString/Layout/Blocks/BlockCodec.cs, MarkupString/PublicAPI.Unshipped.txt, CHANGELOG.md
ColorGradient stores optional roles per stop, includes them in equality and hashing, and generates CSS variables with color fallbacks. The block codec reads and writes roles in the ro array.
Tone application and rendering MarkupString/Layout/Blocks/Block.cs, MarkupString/Layout/Blocks/Modifiers.cs, MarkupString/Layout/Blocks/Gauge.cs, MarkupString.Html/Emitters/LayoutHtml.cs, MarkupString.Tests/Layout/GradientTests.cs
LayoutContext applies its optional tone mapping to gradients. Shaded blocks and gauges use toned gradients. HTML preserves role variables, and tests cover themed and unthemed rendering.
Gradients that name theme colours can leave shaded text invisible in browsers that reject the gradient syntax. Round-tripped gradients can also assign theme colours to the wrong stops when a stop cannot be decoded. Fix these two before merging; the formatting loss on toned stops is minor.

Full details: Title check
Explanation
The title "Let a gradient stop name a theme colour, drawn in the reader's" matches the main change. The PR adds ColorGradient.Roles, which lets each gradient stop name an optional ThemeRole. ColorGradient.Toned and LayoutContext.Tones then draw those stops in the reader's theme colours. The changeset also covers serialization as ro, CSS output with var(--ms-tone-<role>, <colour>), and tests. The title is specific and accurate. It ends with a dangling phrase ("drawn in the reader's"), which leaves the noun "colour" implied and reads slightly awkwardly, but the meaning remains clear.

- Line 605: Update the shaded-gradient CSS emission around
`shaded.Gradient.ToCss` to retain a sampled-gradient fallback for role-based
shading, then apply the role-aware gradient only when the browser supports its
interpolation space. Ensure unsupported interpolation leaves the sampled shade
visible rather than transparent.
Review comments at @MarkupString/ColorGradient.cs:
- Line 121: Update the role-resolution expression using Roles, tones, toned, and
stop so a resolved role applies toned’s foreground and terminal fallback without
replacing the original stop’s non-colour formatting, including bold, links, and
background.
Review comments at @MarkupString/Layout/Blocks/BlockCodec.cs:
- Line 389: Update the Gradient decoding path in BlockCodec so roles stay
aligned with successfully decoded stops: when a stop’s markup codec is
unavailable, discard its corresponding role as well, or mark the layout
incomplete rather than retaining a misaligned role.

…h their stops
A var() in a gradient makes the declaration invalid rather than dropped in a
browser that cannot blend in the space, so the toned gradient goes in its own
variable and the stylesheet uses it only under @supports. A stop the reader
cannot decode drops its role with it.
