FTO (Face Turning Octahedron) Scrambler

From today, FTO is the official Wca event, and the clock in turn will be removed, so I would like to have the opportunity to generate scrambles for fto. I have a script running for daily group contests, and I'd like to see a new official event there. Thanks

I saw the exciting news too. It'll be great!

Per the WCA, "FTO will be available from January 2, 2027", and the upstream software support is still on its way. Once FTO is added to tnoodle-lib, I can cut a new release of this CLI.

As for an ETA, the best information I have is this quote from the announcement:

Other WCA Volunteers will be hard at work to make the necessary changes to our software and systems which support FTO going live in January 2027.

In the meantime, you may be able to use twips which has an in-progress FTO scrambler.
