This is a CV Generator web application built using React.js and jsPDF. The application allows users to fill in their personal details, work experience, education, project details, and references to generate a professional CV. The app includes a dark mode toggle for better user experience.
- Fill in Personal Details: Enter your name, email, skills, and experience.
- Add Work Experience: Add multiple work experiences with job titles, company names, and durations.
- Add Education: Add details of your education, including degrees, schools, and graduation years.
- Add Projects: Include projects with titles, descriptions, and links.
- Add References: Include references with names, contact details, and relationship information.
- Generate PDF: Generate a professional CV in PDF format using jsPDF.
- Dark Mode: Toggle between dark mode and light mode for a better user experience.
Before you begin, ensure you have the following installed on your local machine:
- Node.js and npm (Node Package Manager)
- React.js (This project uses React)

Clone the repository to your local machine:
git clone https://github.com/SyntaxIDK/cv-generator.git

Navigate to the project directory:
cd cv-generator -
Install the required dependencies:
npm install
To run the application locally, use the following command:
npm startThis will start the development server and you can view the application in your browser at http://localhost:3000.
To create a production build of the app, use:
npm run buildThis will generate a build/ folder with all the necessary files to deploy the app.
- Fill in your personal details, skills, work experience, education, projects, and references in the form fields.
- Click the Generate CV button to generate a downloadable PDF.
- Use the dark mode toggle icon at the top-right corner to switch between light and dark modes.
