🎯 What: Fixed a command injection vulnerability in cli/src/commands/doctor.rs where file extensions were unsafely formatted directly into PowerShell commands.
⚠️ Risk: If the hardcoded list of extensions was ever modified to include user input or dynamically sourced data, an attacker could execute arbitrary code by injecting PowerShell payloads (e.g. ext = "'; Invoke-WebRequest ...") via the -Command execution context.
🛡️ Solution: Replaced format! string interpolation with environment variables. The variables are securely populated via the Command builder (.env("EXT", ext)) and accessed directly from the environment scope ($env:EXT) in the PowerShell script, preventing any arbitrary code execution.
