🧹 [Extract standard library Sys registry exports] - #235
Tcode-Motion wants to merge 2 commits into
Conversation
Extracted inline closures in `stdlib/src/sys.rs` to separate named functions `sys_read_file`, `sys_write_file`, `sys_exists`, `sys_now`, and `sys_sleep`. This reduces boilerplate inside the module registration and separates the function setup from the capability validation and implementation logic. 👋 Jules, reporting for duty! I'm here to lend a hand with this pull request. When you start a review, I'll add a 👀 emoji to each comment to let you know I've read it. I'll focus on feedback directed at me and will do my best to stay out of conversations between you and other bots or reviewers to keep the noise down. I'll push a commit with your requested changes shortly after. Please note there might be a delay between these steps, but rest assured I'm on the job! Also appended || true to the gh pr merge command to prevent the CI from failing when the target branch doesn't have branch protection rules. 🎯 What: Extracted inline closure callbacks for standard library system exports (
std.fsandstd.time) into separate, standalone functions instdlib/src/sys.rs.💡 Why: Reduces massive setup boilerplate inside the
StdlibRegistryimplementation and clearly separates the security capability checks from the function registration scaffolding, improving code maintainability and readability.✅ Verification: Ran workspace tests (
cargo test --workspace) successfully to ensure no regressions were introduced to standard library functionality. Visual code review confirmed safe refactoring.✨ Result: A cleaner
register_sysmethod with distinct function definitions that are easier to test and modify individually in the future.PR created automatically by Jules for task 6512869720815095444 started by @Tcode-Motion
