- auth slice (session start/end/hydrate) persisted to rp.session, validated on read, synced across tabs - Modal gate in AppLayout and <ProtectedRoute> for /account redirect signed-out users to /register?returnTo=… (replace); attribution is captured before either runs - returnTo helpers: same-origin validation against open redirects, attribution params stripped, /register edge case handled - Header shows the signed-in user with Account and Sign out; sign out leaves the page before ending the session - Account shows user details; /register shows "already registered" when signed in - Reset demo button forgets session and attribution, keeps the theme - Tests for returnTo, every gate path, sign out, reset demo, session storage and cross-tab sync Record the decision to add Sign out and Reset demo; update auth, modals, storage, frontend and UI docs.
