Node <= 20 is end-of-life and got no fix in the Oct 2026 security release; bun <= 1.4.3 bundles the unfixed Brotli decoder. Pins CI to Node 22.23.4 / 24.22.1 and bun 1.4.4.

fetch()andzlib.22or22.xis pinned exactly, becausesetup-nodecan otherwise reuse an older runner-cached patch release.Scope is CI only:
.github/**,.nvmrc,.node-version,.bun-version. Dockerfiles andenginesare unchanged..nvmrc1822.23.4Opened as part of the CI sweep for #inc-10-22-sev2-multiple-rce. If CI fails on the major-version jump, the fix is usually a dependency bump. Close this PR if the repo is retired.
