Summary

  • include Python type-stub (.pyi) snapshots in the deterministic Tree-sitter baseline
  • retain explicit unsupported-language capability warnings for all non-Python extensions
  • prove stub symbols carry the same parser provenance and schema-valid structural output as .py files

Validation

  • python3 -m pytest (208 passed)
  • git diff --check

Part of #22

Remaining work

The broader Tree-sitter baseline still tracks the issue's remaining language, fixture, and capability-boundary acceptance criteria.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • Python stub files (.pyi) are now analyzed alongside Python source files.
  • Bug Fixes
    • Unsupported-language warnings now accurately list both supported Python file extensions.

Walkthrough

Structural analysis now treats .pyi files as Python alongside .py files. Tests verify stub-file analysis, modified-symbol reporting, Tree-sitter provenance, and updated unsupported-language warning text.

Stub classification and analysis
diffgraph/structural.py, tests/test_structural.py
Python stub files are classified as Python. Unsupported-language warnings list .py and .pyi as supported extensions. Tests verify that a changed stub file reports a modified symbol and Tree-sitter provenance without warnings.
