Software engineer and architect in Germany, fullstack and cloud, running abi group. I started with web development in 2014 and have spent the decade since building backend systems, cloud platforms, and the tooling in between for clients in fintech, real estate, and e-commerce.
What I enjoy most is building a product end to end, from the interface people actually use down to the platform it runs on. The systems I'm happiest with are the boring ones: simple enough to explain to whoever is on call next, and dull enough that nobody has to sit and watch them.
Most of my open-source work lives under @abinnovision. js-commons, react-commons, and nestjs-commons are the shared configs and framework utilities I use across projects, and actions covers the CI/CD side.
The problems I usually get called in for: backend systems hitting their scaling limits, cloud migrations that keep slipping, architectures that have outgrown the design they started with.
