Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • Added GitHub integration for software projects, including repository linking, task branch creation, and visibility into related branches, pull requests, and commits.
    • Configure task status automation from GitHub activity, and import GitHub Issues manually or automatically with configurable labels and destinations.
    • Manage GitHub connections and synchronization status from settings, with options to retry failed sync events.
    • Added localized GitHub integration screens and clearer project-settings save guidance.

…king

Adds the github_* schema, a signed webhook receiver backed by a SKIP LOCKED
queue worker, issue key detection scoped to linked software projects, and
team/project/task APIs for the GitHub integration.
…rawer

Adds the team connection card, project repository linking in software project
settings, and a Development section in the software issue drawer, with
translations for all locales.
Adds per-repository status mapping with forward-only, state-reconciling
transitions applied through the existing status-change function, a
GITHUB_TASK_ACTIVITY socket event, and a Create Branch flow from the task
drawer, with translations for all locales.
…oftware projects

The overlay was Business-gated and listed GitHub as coming soon. Software
projects now always get the overlay; GitHub opens the project settings
Integrations section, and Slack shows locked for non-Business teams.
…tate

GitHub redirects to the callback URL after installation updates, without our
state. Re-sync repositories only for an installation the team already has
connected, after verifying the user can access it.
…project

The install URL can carry a software project id in the signed state, so the
callback lands back on that project's settings. Non-admins are told who can
connect. The overlay shows a connect hint before the team is connected.
…ranch

The base branch is now an autocomplete fed by the repository's branches from
GitHub, defaulting to the configured or repository default branch. Form
defaults come from initialValues so they no longer depend on mount timing.
…sue close, sync status

Adds issue listing and one-way import into the backlog or a sprint (label to
issue type mapping), an issues webhook handler for auto-import and closing
linked issues, per-repository import settings, and team sync status with
failed-event retry.
…c status

Adds the import modal, auto-import and close-on-issue-close controls in
project settings, and a team sync-status drawer with failed-event retry, with
translations for all locales.
- Introduced new constants for project settings in `project-settings.constants.ts`.
- Implemented `AdvancedSettingsSection` for advanced project configurations.
- Created `BasicDetailsCard` for managing basic project details.
- Added `BudgetSettingsSection` to handle project budget configurations.
- Developed `ClientManagerCard` for managing project clients and managers.
- Implemented `GeneralSettingsSection` to encapsulate general project settings.
- Created `TimelineEstimatesCard` for managing project timelines and estimates.
- Enhanced `IntegrationsSettingsSection` to include GitHub integration details.
- Added utility function `calculateWorkingDays` for calculating weekdays between dates.
- Updated activity log to display the source of changes.
- Refactored imports for `ProjectSettingsModal` across various components.
- Updated task activity log request type to include source information.

Change: Feature

Merge Risk: 🟡 Moderate · up to ad74b

The GitHub integration adds broad new functionality, but two features do not work as specified. Users cannot configure automatic issue import, because those settings never appear. A task whose first pull request was abandoned never moves to done after a replacement pull request merges. Fix both before merging.

Leave closed, unmerged closing PRs out of closingPullRequests.

loadGitState counts every PR linked with closes = TRUE, whatever its state. resolveReachedEvent returns pr_merged only when every closing PR has merged = true. Consider a common workflow: PR #1 "Fixes PROJ-1" is closed without a merge. PR #2 "Fixes PROJ-1" replaces it and is merged. The abandoned PR #1 stays in the list with merged: false, so the task can never reach the pr_merged status. Automation then stays at branch_created or does nothing. This breaks the acceptance criterion for PRs that close an issue.

Count a closing PR only while it is open or after it has merged.

Also, the test does not treat a merged non-closing PR as done in github-transition-rules.test.ts never passes a merged PR. Add a case that covers it, plus a case for "closed unmerged plus merged".

A stale branch-lookup response can overwrite the branch list for the current repository.

loadBranches does not check that its response belongs to the repository that is selected now. Suppose the user switches from repository A to repository B while the request for A is still running. If A's response arrives after B's, setBranches stores A's branches. If the base branch is empty, form.setFieldValue('baseBranch', …) also stores A's default branch, and the user can submit a base branch that does not exist in B. Keep a ref to the latest requested repository ID and ignore any response that does not match it.

Render GithubImportSettings for each linked repository.

GithubProjectRepositories defines handleImportSettingsChange, but each linked repository renders only GithubStatusAutomation. The import controls are therefore unreachable. The repository response already provides sprints; pass data.sprints to the component.

Localize the deletion success notification.

The message and description strings are hardcoded English. Use t() with interpolation, as the software modal does with softwareSettings.deleted. Based on learnings, hardcoded user-facing UI strings should use t('key') calls.

Update the success notification in the project deletion flow to use `t()` for
both the message and description, reusing the localization pattern from the
software modal and interpolating `projectName` rather than embedding it in a
hardcoded English string.

Read the requested settings section from the slice.

The project-view.tsx deep link and the IntegrationsDropdown.tsx handler dispatch setActiveSettingsSection('integrations'). This general modal keeps activeSection only in local state, starting at 'general', and never reads projectSettingsModalReducer.activeSection. For a general project, the deep link therefore opens the General section instead of Integrations. SoftwareProjectSettingsModal already reads the slice value. Apply the same sync here.

Proposed fix

+ const { isOpen: isProjectSettingsModalOpen, activeSection: requestedSection } = useAppSelector(
     state => state.projectSettingsModalReducer

Update ProjectSettingsModal’s activeSection state to read
projectSettingsModalReducer.activeSection and synchronize it when the modal
opens, so requested sections such as integrations are selected instead of always
showing general.

🩺 Stability & Availability | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win

Treat done: false responses as load failures.

load calls setData(response.body) and does not check response.done. If the server returns done: false with a null body, the component shows the error alert, which is safe. If the body is non-null but only partly filled, the reads of data.repositories.length and data.pull_requests.length throw and the drawer crashes. CreateBranchModal already checks done. Use the same check here.

Proposed fix
       const response = await githubApiService.getTaskDevelopment(taskId);
+      if (!response.done || !response.body) throw new Error('development lookup failed');
       setData(response.body);
