Official and latest NextCloud Docker image without any further configurations

Given Folder structure "http://localhost:8080/apps/files/?dir=/TB/2021/2021-09/28&fileid=23365" contains XML- and PDF-Files.

  1. But when i try to download all files with
    connector.download(fileName);
    then the Exception org.aarboard.nextcloud.api.exception.NextcloudApiException: com.github.sardine.impl.SardineException: status code: 404, reason phrase: Unexpected response (404 Not Found) is thrown:

    You are trying to download "Filename", but you are missing the path to it.
    You will need to tell the download method where in the tree your file ist to be found.

    The way you us it, it's trying in the root folder

    This was reported against 11.5.1, and a lot has changed since then that could affect this:

    • 11.6.0 merged a reworked WebDAV path resolver, which handles the /remote.php/dav/files/... paths differently across Nextcloud versions — a common source of 404s on WebDAV operations.
    • 14.1.6 fixed WebDAV requests failing on servers reachable on a non-standard port (like your :8080): preemptive authentication now uses the configured port. (Fix WebDAV uploads on non-standard ports (#112) #115)
    • 14.2.0 additionally makes WebDAV honour the TLS trust configuration, and includes many other fixes.

    Could you retest with the latest release (14.2.0)?

    If you still hit the 404 on 14.2.0, please share the exact call that fails (list vs. download) and the folder/file path, and we'll dig in. Otherwise we'll close this as resolved by the above. Thanks!
