🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick winCheck out the pull request head before running Skimit.
actions/checkoutdefaults to the synthetic merge commit forpull_requestevents. Skimit then compares that merged tree withpull_request.base.sha. If the base and branch make non-conflicting edits to the same Java method, Skimit analyzes the merged method instead of the method frompull_request.head.sha. This can include base-side code in the call chain and produce a manifest that does not represent the pull request head versus base comparison.Suggested fix

Thanks. batchDelete* is now covered. On the checkout: rather than checking out the head, the action now compares GitHub's merge commit with its first parent. That is exactly this pull request's change on top of the current master, even if master has moved on, which a head-versus-base comparison would not be. |

Make the whole job non-blocking.
Line 43 makes only the Skimit action step non-blocking. A failure in actions/checkout or actions/setup-java can still fail the manifest job before this step runs. Set continue-on-error: true on the job to meet the PR’s non-blocking requirement. GitHub distinguishes step-level handling from job-level handling; the job-level setting allows the workflow to pass when the job fails. (docs.github.com)

On job-level continue-on-error: the skimit check is not one of this repository's required checks, so it cannot block a merge either way. A checkout or setup-java failure would be a GitHub outage that fails the build jobs too, and job-level continue-on-error still shows the job's check as failed. Keeping it at the step, where skimit's own errors are handled. |

@PeterToulouras This pull request has conflicts with the target branch. Please resolve them and update the branch before merging. |
What's the purpose of this PR
Adds the non-blocking CI job proposed in #5693. On every pull request it compiles the pull request and its base and writes a review manifest to the job summary: which changed methods can reach a data write (must review), which take part in such a flow (should review), and which have no connection to one (isolated), each with the call chain that proves it.
It only writes to the job summary. It posts no comments, fails no checks, and needs only read permission. The skimit Action is pinned to a commit and the analyzer to release 0.1.5, as the other third-party Actions here are pinned.
This pull request triggers the job itself, so its summary shows what it looks like. Since this change has no Java code, that summary should report that no method changed.
