Implement end-to-end target readback verification #18

Description

@ashishsinghbora

Problem Statement

Calculating a checksum of the source before writing does not prove that the target device contains the same data.

The target itself must be verified.

Proposed Solution / Enhancement

Implement:

Write
  ↓
Flush
  ↓
Read target
  ↓
Compare with expected data
  ↓
Report success/failure

The verification process should detect:

  • Corrupted sectors
  • Missing writes
  • Incorrect data
  • Partial writes

The target must not be reported as successfully flashed until verification completes.

Architectural Layer Impacted

Flash Engine / Block Device / Verification

Alternatives Considered

Source-only checksums cannot detect corruption introduced during USB communication or device writes.
