An HTML page whose filename contains a double quote fails to bundle an inline module importing Bend: serialization of the generated module src changes the virtual path, and Bun reports Could not resolve.

Encode the page basename in generated inline-module names so it survives HTML attribute serialization. The module keeps its original directory, and diagnostics still point to the source page.

Validation on Linux:

  • Extended bundle_inline regression returns 9 on main and 0 with this fix; interpreted and emitted-JS runs both pass, independently rerun by the parent agent.
  • Bundles and executes Bend imports from page names containing a quote, an HTML character reference, a percent escape, and Unicode; also checks a diagnostic in a quoted filename.
  • Repository gate: 54/54; git diff --check passes.
  • GPT-6.1-Terra medium review-agent review: no findings.

The regression uses a JS-only foreign effect. The mini-cluster gate could not start because its hostname did not resolve.
