@ReinierMaas The benchmark from this branch has been extracted into #151, it was annoying to maintain it here, prefer to keep it separate and then it can just be cherry-picked to wherever it is needed. Tuesday I will tidy up this work, and run the benchmark on each of the sequential changes that were introduced, so we can clearly see the cumulative performance gain over the changes. |
