The handoff package moves from pull request #674 and D096 to pull request #679 and D097, covering the six-chapter consistency sweep and the repairs that followed it.
The README and current_state now record the sweep as complete rather than commissioned: the onym convention under canon's translation-naming rule, the single quotative frame per continuing speech, the source's quote order in the derived English, and the two calque rulings that followed, conversational entry over break-into and no evidential on directly received speech. The chapter 7 reader's checklist gains the evidential placement and quote order beside the onym set and frame convention. Corpus-state records extend the no-additions line through D097 and note On Work's two evidential corrections.
language_and_voice gains the two constraints a replacement model is most likely to violate next: a paragraph on evidential scope over speech and hearing verbs, with the layer-mismatch tell (a Phi particle marking what the faithful English never rendered), and the translation-practice rules for naming, framing, quote order, and checking a drafted verb's argument structure against its entry's own usage note, since the parser accepts a grammatical sentence carrying the wrong claim.
repository_workflow generalizes the sweep-specific check sequence to any edit touching the published chapters, and its
--docscurrency line moves to #679 with the count and both diagnostics re-measured before writing: 5,543 examples, PHS103 at line 46 and PHS115 at line 212, unchanged.vocabulary_migration needs nothing; no vocabulary moved. Validators pass 0/0, the decision-register check passes against the unchanged snapshot table, and the added prose carries no dashes or curly quotes.
