Replace Mermaid.js and the ELK layout plugin with Pele for blog diagrams. Existing Mermaid fences keep working, while diagrams adapt to the article width and follow light/dark colors through CSS without re-rendering.
Pele owns rendering, resize handling, fonts, and zoom/pan controls. Keep the existing fullscreen action, accessible titles/descriptions, and readable-source error fallback. Remove the old render queue, JavaScript theme configuration, custom zoom state, and unused dependencies; update the kitchen-sink examples and README.
Validation
bun run test: 329 passed; two database integration tests skipped becauseCACHE_TEST_DATABASE_URLis unset.bun run lint(including both unused-code checks),bun run typecheck, andbun run format:typ:checkpass.bun run buildpasses. GitHub preview fetches returned 403 and used the existing fallback behavior.Diagrams use Pele’s layout and visual style. No Mermaid.js or ELK fallback remains.
