Summary

  • Require automatic installation of missing system-Perl modules into an isolated temporary library before CPAN classification comparisons.
  • Ensure the isolated CPAN client does not fall back to the user's shared CPAN home.
  • Document the repository-local PyYAML bootstrap for validating the classification skill.
  • Include the current coherent CPAN compatibility report snapshot.

Validation

  • quick_validate.py passed for classify-cpan-failures.
  • make check-links passed.
  • lychee --offline passed for the changed Markdown files.
  • Staged report counts: 8,288 pass, 7,915 fail, 176 skipped; total 16,379.

The report files were staged while holding the tester's derived report lock. Later active-tester updates remain unstaged and are intentionally excluded from this snapshot.

Require isolated automatic installation of missing system-Perl test
dependencies before comparing CPAN distributions, and document the local
PyYAML bootstrap used to validate the skill. Include the coherent CPAN report
snapshot staged under the tester report lock.
