I'm a software developer that focuses on building high performance data storage systems and working in OSS community. I was a former Redis OSS maintainer before they changed their license, and helped co-create the Valkey project with other major contributors from Redis OSS at the time. My side hustle is being a principal engineer at AWS.

Additional Information
Valkey recently launched version 9.2, which is a minor release with lots of features. We are trending longer term bigger changes like durability and SSD tiering. So we can talk about that. Some other topics:
- AI and software engineering
- Rust and performance engineering
- Some of the new functionality and how it supports both AI and non-AI workloads
(We don't have to talk about AI, but just feel like it's on folks minds).
