Slice 1 of #1044: hadron team task list --team[=worker:<ref>] [--status …] [--tree] [--stale-over <duration>], a coordinator's work in flight in one view.

Refs #1044. Gate: Xan's slice-1 CHECKED (T1), with Patrick's FIT correction. Slice 2, the creator criterion and any cross-App rows, stays on hadron-server#2370. This PR leaves #1044 open.

What it does

  • Team. The coordinator plus every worker whose roster reportsTo chain reaches them, within the one App read (the usual --app → context → binding scope).
    • A bare --team means the bound worker.
    • --team=worker:<id|URN|name> names one. The value must be attached with =; a stray positional refuses (exit 2).
    • An unknown coordinator exits 4.
    • The walk is breadth-first and cycle-safe.
  • Rows. The App's tasks a team member owns or is assigned (match: party), plus every descendant of those (match: descendant).
    • Descendants matter because a child's owner is its parent's assignee: a seat task's own children can sit wholly outside the team.
  • One read gate. The existing agentTasks read, sent without filters and paged at the 200 cap to a short page, deduplicated by id.
    • A full page that adds nothing refuses (exit 1) and shows nothing. A 500-page bound refuses too.
    • The roster join, the recursion, --status and --stale-over are all client-side over rows the caller can already read. It never shows another subtree wholesale; a test pins this.
    • --status applies after the join, so an open task under a finished team task stays in view.
  • Reporting lines. These come from a new narrow TeamReportingLines read (teamRoster → worker + reportsTo). Production currently refuses the full roster's model field; this read works there.
  • --stale-over <d>. Keeps PENDING/STARTED tasks idle longer than d, measured from updatedAt, else startedAt, else createdAt. A stderr note says records lag real progress.
  • --tree. Draws parent/child trees: status, idle, owner → assignee, title, open alarms.
    • A row whose parent isn't shown becomes a root.
    • Rows a corrupt cycle leaves unreached still render.
    • Cross-team parties read (outside); workers the roster doesn't list (retired) read (not on roster).
  • Alarms. task tree's alarm join is extracted as openAlarmsByTask and shared. task tree behaviour is unchanged.
  • Output. Text always starts with app: … and team: <coordinator> (<source>) — N workers, because the coordinator can be ambient. An empty view says no tasks.
    • --json is an envelope: {appId, coordinator, coordinatorSource, members, staleOverSeconds, tasks}. Each task is the plain task plus ownerTeam/assigneeTeam (team|outside|unknown|user|null), match, ageSeconds and ageFrom. --tree changes text only.
    • The plain task list shape is untouched: teamTaskDTO embeds taskDTO by value.
  • Refused combinations. The plain list's server filters and paging (--assignee --owner --parent --tag --queued --roots-only --limit --offset) are refused with --team (exit 2). --tree and --stale-over without --team are refused (exit 2).
  • Retired workers. These rules are written into the help and the plan doc.

Design as built: docs/plans/team-task-list-team.md. agentic-usage.md is updated.

Validation

  • Red first. Commit 4aa3e68 adds internal/cmd/team_task_team_1044_test.go, which fails on main with unknown flag: --team. The feature commit adds one fixture line to it (TeamReportingLines answered like TeamRoster) after the query split; no assertion changed.
  • What the tests cover:
    • team resolution through a nested chain;
    • recursion, including a cross-subtree descendant;
    • cross-team labels;
    • no wholesale visibility (no filter sent; Ada's view never shows Marco's rows);
    • a bare --team naming its source;
    • an unknown coordinator → 4;
    • paging across 3 pages (offsets 0/200/400);
    • a non-advancing page → 1 with nothing printed;
    • --stale-over 1h returning exactly the idle open tasks via each fallback field;
    • --status applied after the recursion;
    • tree indentation;
    • the empty view still naming its scope;
    • nine usage refusals that send no request.
  • Mutants killed. Dropping the descendant walk fails 3 tests; ignoring updatedAt fails the stale test.
  • Local checks. make test, make lint (0), make generate and unbound-ops-check all pass.
  • Live read-only probe. Against production (--team=worker:Marco --stale-over 1h --tree) it resolved 19 workers and rendered stale trees with (outside) marks, in ~20 s for ~3,000 tasks (15 pages). The cost is noted in the plan.

Limits

  • No disposable-stack run by the author; the gate puts that in QA.
  • The read is O(App tasks) until server filters land in slice 2.

Slice 1 of #1044: the coordinator's team from the roster reportsTo chain,
owner/assignee match plus descendants over the whole App's paged task read,
cross-team labels, the age fallback and the no-wholesale-visibility rule.
Fails on main: --team, --tree and --stale-over are unknown flags.

A coordinator's work in flight in one view. The team is the coordinator
(bare --team = the bound worker, or --team=worker:<ref>) plus every worker
whose roster reportsTo chain reaches them, in the one App read. Rows are
the App's tasks a team member owns or is assigned plus all their
descendants, read through the existing agentTasks read paged to the end
(a non-advancing page refuses, exit 1) and joined client-side; --status
applies after the join, --stale-over keeps PENDING/STARTED tasks idle past
a duration (updatedAt, else startedAt, else createdAt) with a stderr note
that records lag. --tree draws parent/child trees with idle time and open
alarms; cross-team parties are labelled. The reporting lines come from a
narrow TeamReportingLines roster read. task tree's alarm join is extracted
as openAlarmsByTask and shared. Creator criterion and cross-App rows stay
on hadron-server#2370 (slice 2).

BLIND — APPROVE at exact 1d12d19373a3b9538b71f14c2a6a2d2c5dfff5f0. No P1/P2. Saved/read back before peer artifacts: hrn:node:hadronmemory.com:hadron-dev-team-shared:sprints:sprint-2:reviews:hadron-cli-1063:joost.

Checked against slice1 gate and Patrick's FIT correction: selected-App task read gate retained; reportsTo BFS and task descendant walk are cycle-safe; status runs after the join; same-App outside-party labels and retired-worker policy are explicit. Reads use 200-row offset pages, deduplication and refusal on non-advancement/page bound, rather than the bounded agentTaskTree API. The shared alarm join preserves its existing warning behavior. Stale filtering uses updatedAt→startedAt→createdAt and keeps only idle PENDING/STARTED rows; tree/scope/empty output and the stderr lag note fit the contract.

Optional P3 — plan wording, docs/plans/team-task-list-team.md:44–45: qualify “duplicate, never a miss.” This is a best-effort live offset scan, not a snapshot: a newly inserted front-row isn't itself returned after page0, and deletion/reordering can shift an unread row before the next offset. Deduplication cannot guarantee concurrent completeness. Document the limitation; no new server/snapshot feature requested and this never blocks.

Reviewer-run: full Go suite PASS, lint0issues, generation clean, unbound61Q/110M PASS, CI4/4 green. Three compiling production mutants killed by assertions: dropped descendant walk (nested/status/tree tests), ignored updatedAt (stale test), accepted repeated page (non-advancement test). Sequential4G/no-swap scopes, restored source, clean checkout. Author's production read probe is not my execution evidence.

Limits: not independent compiled-CLI/disposable-stack QA; no live App/server/provider/production/release/merge action. No peer verdict summaries were exposed before saving. §10 not required by this read-only slice's gate.

QA PASS — hadron-cli#1063 at 1d12d19373a3b9538b71f14c2a6a2d2c5dfff5f0 (live head exact; OPEN, ready, CI green).
Built v0.28.0-156-g1d12d19; one private Incus stack on hadron-server bad02099ecb103cdb3815a858ab3a95eeef1abbf. Team A tree showed all 3 rows and D (outside); D's view excluded A/B roots; stale filter returned only the 3h task; JSON envelope and descendant labels parsed as expected.
Limits: full CLI suite and production reads not run. Post-probe stack check saw 6 workers vs its 2-worker fixture baseline because the QA graph remained; initial stack check passed. Stack and scratch checkouts were torn down.
Evidence: hrn:node:hadronmemory.com:hadron-dev-team-shared:sprints:sprint-2:qa:hadron-cli-1063:colette-1d12d193. No product defect found; no merge hold.

LOCAL seat APPROVE @ 1d12d193 — no findings.

Clean checkout: make build ✓, go test ./... green (isolated HOME/TMPDIR), golangci-lint 0 issues.

  • Plain path unchanged, proven at the binary level: old (4aa3e68) vs new (1d12d19) team task list against the same stub — text and --json outputs byte-identical (stdout and stderr).
  • New flags refuse cleanly: --tree/--stale-over without --team, each of the eight plain-list flags with --team, missing worker: prefix, stray positional, bad/negative durations — all exit 2 with one clear message, and the stub's request log stays empty for every refusal.
  • Team view on a synthetic loopback stub (roster Ada←Gabriel, unrelated Marco): --json envelope exactly {appId, coordinator, coordinatorSource, members, staleOverSeconds, tasks} with ownerTeam/assigneeTeam/match/ageSeconds/ageFrom per task; nested-chain resolution; --tree nesting; --stale-over filtering with the stderr lag note and createdAt fallback; empty view still names its scope; unknown coordinator → exit 4; a non-advancing full page → exit 1 with zero stdout.
  • Reviewer-run mutant: unseeding the BFS (dropping the descendant walk) fails exactly the 3 claimed tests; revert green. (A first mutant attempt was void — compile error — not counted.) The updatedAt-mutant claim is author-reported; the fallback chain was verified behaviorally.

Limits: loopback synthetic stub only, no real App data; 500-page bound reviewed statically; (outside)/(not on roster) cells covered by unit tests, not re-driven.

Picks up #1062 (app update), which also touched generated.go and
agentic-usage.md; both auto-merged and make generate is a no-op.

BLIND carry — APPROVE at exact 32d8bba94c921aad9b5aaa7af2d25013b9a641b8, from my 1d12d193 approval. No new blocking findings; optional baseline P3 snapshot wording remains non-blocking.

Inspected the actual merge (parents1d12d193+main9c3d7e3); remerge diff is empty. All five task-view source/query/test/plan files are byte-identical, including taskread.go's shared alarm join and the narrow reporting-lines query. Shared-file changes add incoming App update only: generated113additions/0deletions, agentic App-update line, and inventory removal of updateApp (61Q/109M). Task-view docs and semantics remain unchanged.

Own regeneration is clean, unbound check passes, focused task team/stale/tree tests pass, CI4/4 green. Baseline full suite/lint/three mutant results carry for unchanged task paths; no new full-suite or independent compiled/live QA claimed. No stack/provider/production/release/merge action.

Saved/read back before peer carry artifacts: hrn:node:hadronmemory.com:hadron-dev-team-shared:sprints:sprint-2:reviews:hadron-cli-1063:joost-delta-32d8bba9.

QA DELTA CARRY — hadron-cli#1063 at 32d8bba94c921aad9b5aaa7af2d25013b9a641b8 (base 9c3d7e35710a2c16cce7b8185a7d4313deef2f03).

The previous task-list QA approval at 1d12d19373a3b9538b71f14c2a6a2d2c5dfff5f0 carries: the merge adds the unrelated #1058 App-update command, GraphQL/generated API, tests, and synopsis; it does not change the tested team task-list paths. Current CI is green 4/4. No new task-list runtime run was needed; #1058 App update was not QA'd by this seat.

Evidence: colette-delta-32d8bba9 (revision 1). No new findings or merge hold from this delta.

LOCAL carry APPROVE — approval carries to 32d8bba9 (from my reviewed head 1d12d193; delta is the main-merge bringing #1062).

Verified the merge myself: delta = exactly #1062's file set, no #1063 code touched. make generate is a no-op on the merged tree (generated.go is exactly genqlient's output), unbound-ops-check in sync, build/tests/lint green. Binary A/B at the two heads: plain task list text and --json byte-identical, team-view behavior unchanged, refusals still exit 2 with zero round trips. #1062's app update also works at this head (stub-driven smoke) — both features coexist.
