Problem

The "Upload CodeCov Report" step in build-and-test.yml never ran. Its condition was

if: matrix.os == 'macos-15' && matrix.java == '9' && matrix.jarch == 'x86_64'

but os is not a key in the macOS job's matrix, and 9 isn't in the java list. This is the same bug as the site step fixed in #39. As a result, nothing was uploaded to Codecov, even though the README has a Codecov badge.

Change

  • The step now runs once per CI run, on the aarch64 / Java 25 entry: native on the arm64 runner, with the newest JDK.
  • It uploads ffsampledsp-complete/target/site/jacoco/jacoco.xml explicitly, with disable_search: true. JaCoCo's report execution in the root POM already writes that file during verify, so the preceding install step produces it. No POM changes are needed.
  • It uses codecov/codecov-action v7 instead of v2, which is from 2021 and uses a Node runtime GitHub no longer supports.
  • It still uses secrets.CODECOV_TOKEN (the secret exists). fail_ci_if_error stays at its default false, so a Codecov outage doesn't fail the build.

Testing

  • Locally, the build produces ffsampledsp-complete/target/site/jacoco/jacoco.xml (~93 KB) with JDK 25.
  • This PR's CI run should show the upload step running (instead of being skipped) on macos-build (aarch64, 25).

The "Upload CodeCov Report" step was conditioned on matrix.os (not a
matrix key) and Java 9 (not in the matrix), so coverage was never
uploaded. Run it once, on the aarch64/Java 25 entry, upload the JaCoCo
XML report produced by the build explicitly, and update
codecov-action from v2 to v7.
