Hominux

Small, focused open-source libraries and tooling for Java and contract testing. We build software that does one job well, ships with clear documentation, and stays easy to adopt and maintain.

Mission

Every tool here exists because I needed it and it wasn't there. Hominux builds those missing tools so the next developer doesn't have to struggle through the same gap.

  • compress4j: archiving and compression library for Java 21+, a thin API layer over Apache Commons Compress. Successor to the unmaintained jarchivelib. Docs · Maven Central
  • pact-avro-plugin: Pact plugin, written in Rust, for contract testing messages serialised with Apache Avro. Docs
  • docs-ui-bundle: Antora UI bundle for our documentation sites.
